Day 01: Favorite Incarnation of the Doctor.

Nine. Always. Of course, he was my first Doctor, so I always had a certain attachment to him, but it’s more than that. Everyone always goes on about how rough he is, but it’s such crap. Sure, he didn’t jump off the walls like a maniac, and he certainly had his angry moments, but there was such an understated cheerfulness about him. The way he said hello, his little jokes to Rose. He always handled his emotions well. And although he was still grieving and upset, he was never unhappy.

Tl;dr: The Ninth Doctor makes my heart smile.

Even though I love Tennant and Davison, Eccleston remains my favorite doctor. I don’t wanna go too much into it, ‘cause then I wouldn’t be able to stop, BUT he’s simply FANTASTIC. He’s just magic. My first doctor and simply my doctor :)
